Helen Broder, one half of a writing duo with her mother, Nan Marshall, is the founder and president of Speaker Management, LLC, where she represents professional speakers such as Cam Marston and Mark Sanborn. Her early marketing career began at TBS and led her to become the director of the Olympic Sports and Speakers Bureau divisions at Advantage International, now Octagon. Through her position as director, Broder represented and cut deals for many well-known Olympians.
In addition to her work with Speaker Management, Broder owns and manages Blue Moon on Bald Head Island, a high-end vacation-property rental business. She was president of both the Academic Council of the McDonough School of Business and the Marketing Society at Georgetown University, and she received the honor of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Graduating with honors from Georgetown University, Broder received a BS in business administration and the prestigious Reverent Joseph S. Sebes, S. J. Award. She studied comparative business at Brasenose College at Oxford University, and she is an alumna of the Protocol School of Washington. Broder enjoys photography, traveling, cooking, and scuba diving. She resides with her husband, James, and twin sons, William and Charles, in Vienna, Virginia. |
