For more than forty years, Lenny Delbert, Sr., has worked as a professional photographer and videographer. He is the president of Pan Am Communications in New Orleans, Louisiana, the company with which he launched his career. Formerly Pan American Films, he shot and edited in 16mm format. Delbert is also a longtime cameraman for WYES, the local PBS affiliate in New Orleans.
An accomplished commercial and documentary videographer, Delbert’s previous projects include Vietnamese Cuisine in New Orleans, a documentary by Suzanne Pfefferle that premiered on WYES in 2012; No One Ever Went Hungry: Cajun Food Traditions Then and Now; and New Orleans Restaurants with a Past, which was produced by Peggy Scott Laborde. He is a lifelong resident of New Orleans.
