About the Authors
Trisha Mickler is a sixth-generation Floridian with a deep love of her home state and its unique history. A published cookbook author who fell in love with cooking at an early age, she is an accomplished photographer and an active volunteer in her community. Mickler lives with her family near Tampa, Florida.
Toby Benoit is a well-known outdoorsman who attended the University of Tampa. He is the owner of Rebel Yell Outdoors, which manufactures scents and game calls for big-game hunting, and acts as a guide on big-game hunts. Benoit regularly contributes articles to publications such as Woods ’n Water, Turkey Call, and Outdoor Sports in the Southeast. He lives on his family farm in Inverness, Florida.
